KAJIAN MORFOMETRIK SAYAP BELAKANG LEBAH MADU APIS CERANA FABR. (HYMENOPTERA: APIDAE) DARI SUMATERA BARAT

ABSTRAK
Kajian morfometrik sayap belakang lebah madu A. cerana (Hymenoptera: Apidae) dari Sumatera Barat telah dilakukan dari bulan Maret 2011-Maret 2012. Sebanyak 45 koloni lebah yang berasal dari ketinggian 1100 m (16 koloni) digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Pada setiap koloni diambil 15 individu lebah pekerja, dibuat preparat sayap belakang dan dibuat citra bitmap. Venasi sayap belakang diukur dari hasil citra bitmap dengan menggunakan software optilab image raster. Data dianalisis dengan t test. Total jumlah venasi sayap belakanglebah pekerja A. cerana yang diukur adalah 29 karakter yang terdiri 20 venasi sayap dan lima ratio dari dua venasi dan empat karakter bagian tubuh lain. Ukuran rata-rata venasi sayap lebah yang menempati ketinggian yang sama tidak menunjukkan perbedaan sedangkan pada ketinggian yang berbeda menunjukkan perbedaan lebih dari 10%.
